Finding the right size is an important part of choosing your wedding gown.

Please use the measurements below as a guide when selecting your RHEAGAL BRIDAL gown.

Important: Bridal sizing may differ from your usual clothing size. We recommend selecting your gown according to your actual body measurements, rather than the dress size you normally wear.

International size conversions are approximate and should be used as a reference only. Always select your gown according to your body measurements.

HOW TO MEASURE

For the most accurate results, we recommend asking a professional tailor or seamstress to take your measurements.

Wear lightweight, fitted clothing or the undergarments you intend to wear with your gown. Stand naturally and keep the measuring tape comfortably fitted without pulling it too tightly.

1. Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape straight and level across your back.

Do not use your bra size as your bust measurement.

2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso.

Keep the measuring tape comfortably fitted without pulling it tight.

3. Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

4. Hollow to Floor

Measure from the hollow at the base of your neck straight down to the floor.

Stand upright with your feet together.

For bridal gowns, please inform us if you intend to wear high heels so that the appropriate gown length can be considered.

5. Height

Measure from the top of your head to the floor while standing straight without shoes.

6. Shoulder to Shoulder

Measure across your back from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other shoulder.

7. Shoulder to Bust

Measure from the top of your shoulder vertically down to the fullest point of your bust.

8. Shoulder to Waist

Measure from the top of your shoulder, over the fullest part of your bust, down to your natural waistline.

9. Arm Length

With your arm slightly bent, measure from the shoulder point down to your wrist.

This measurement is particularly important for gowns with fitted or full-length sleeves.

10. Upper Arm

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm while keeping your arm relaxed.

For made-to-measure or customised gowns, we may request the following measurements:

Additional measurements may be requested depending on the design of your selected gown.

BETWEEN TWO SIZES?

If your measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend selecting the larger size.

For example, if your bust corresponds to Size M but your waist corresponds to Size L, select Size L and have the gown professionally altered where necessary.

It is generally easier for a professional tailor or seamstress to take a gown in than to increase a gown that is too small.

MADE-TO-MEASURE GOWNS

For gowns offered with a Made-to-Measure option, please provide all requested measurements carefully.

We strongly recommend having your measurements taken professionally.

Made-to-measure does not necessarily mean that your gown will require no alterations. Minor adjustments may still be necessary due to individual body shape, posture, undergarments, footwear and personal fit preferences.

IMPORTANT SIZING INFORMATION

Bridal sizing is different from everyday clothing sizing.

Please do not automatically order the same size you normally purchase from other fashion brands.

Your bust, waist and hip measurements should always be your primary reference when selecting your RHEAGAL BRIDAL size.

Measurements should be taken close to your wedding gown order date. If you expect significant changes to your measurements before your wedding, please take this into consideration before ordering.

RHEAGAL BRIDAL cannot guarantee a perfect fit based solely on standard sizing. Professional alterations may be required after receiving your gown.
